Terms of Service

Welcome to Ezgrabs. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile interfaces, products, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms and to abide by all of the terms and conditions set forth herein.

2. Account Registration

To list books or unlock seller contact details, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your information updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Listings and Content

Ezgoods is a peer‑to‑peer marketplace. Users may list books for sale and share related information. You are solely responsible for any content you submit, including images, descriptions, and pricing. You agree that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to the books you list and the content you upload.
  • Your listings are accurate, lawful, and do not infringe third‑party rights.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws, including those related to intellectual property and consumer protection.

4. Transactions between Users

Ezgoods facilitates discovery and communication but is not a party to sales contracts between buyers and sellers. Payments to unlock seller contact are processed by Stripe. Any subsequent purchase of a listed book is a private transaction between buyer and seller. Ezgoods does not hold inventory, guarantee condition, or provide shipping.

5. Payments and Fees

Unlocking seller contact costs $1 per book and is non‑refundable once completed, except where required by law. Additional platform fees may be introduced with notice. Taxes, if applicable, are your responsibility.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Posting illegal, counterfeit, or infringing items.
  • Harassment, hate speech, or other abusive behavior.
  • Attempting to circumvent payments or platform features.
  • Interfering with the Service, introducing malware, or scraping without permission.

7. License to Your Content

By submitting content, you grant Ezgoods a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, store, display, and distribute such content solely for operating and improving the Service. You retain all ownership in your content.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by or licensed to Ezgoods and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service unless you have our written permission.

9. Third‑Party Services

We integrate with third‑party services such as Stripe for payments and Supabase for authentication and data storage. Your use of third‑party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. EZGOODS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF USER CONTENT OR LISTINGS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL EZGOODS OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ezgoods and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. If a revision materially changes your rights, we will provide advance notice where reasonable. By continuing to use the Service after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
